Make a donation.

The Tampa Firefighters Museum is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization. We are not related to the City and rely on generous donations from individuals and organizations, including our corporate partners, charitable trusts, and other grant-making bodies.

We also raise money through annual fundraisers, and the profits from our store and special event rentals.

All funds raised go towards operational expenses for the Museum and fund the cultural and civic programs, exhibitions, seminars & training workshops, and children’s programs offered to the public.

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions we receive about making a donation to the Tampa Firefighters Museum. If you cannot find the answer that you need, please call the Museum at (813) 964-6862 or email concierge@tampafirefightersmuseum.org.

  • The Tampa Firefighters Museum would not exist without generous donations from supporters like you. As a small museum, we depend on individual donors and corporate sponsors for new projects and exhibits, as well as operational costs and other ongoing events.

    Your donations help us continue the museum’s mission of preserving and exhibiting artifacts, apparatus, documents and photos from the community and the fire department.

    You can also make a contribution to the museum in memoriam of a family member or friend.

    Your gift to the museum, regardless of the amount, is essential so we can continue to fulfill our mission.

    As a reminder, the Tampa Firefighters Museum is a 501 c(3) nonprofit and all donations to the Museum are tax-exempt to the extent allowed by law.

    If mailing us a donation, please follow these instructions:

    • Make a check payable to "Tampa Firefighters Museum, Inc."

    • When donating, please include your information so we can properly thank you.

  • If you want to make a donation as a gift to a friend or relative, just contact our Museum Concierge at dispatch@tampafirefightersmuseum.org after you have made your donation. They will be able to track your donation and make sure a suitable thank you is provided.

  • Of course. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

  • Yes, we accept donations by check or money order. Thank you in advance for your donation.

  • Yes! We have had fundraisers held to benefit us in the past by local non-profit organizations, businesses, and krewes. Contact our Museum Concierge at dispatch@tampafirefightersmuseum.org to discuss your ideas.
