Host an Event With Us

The first floor exhibition hall is approximately 5,000 square feet and still has the original concrete floors. Horse-drawn steamers and ladders of the early 1900’s are replaced by exhibits showcasing the rich history of the Tampa Fire Department. The second floor gallery is approximately 2,500 square feet, with original wood flooring in a rich walnut tone. There is also an additional 1,200 square feet of carpeted pre-function space. The entire museum is wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant.

    The museum provides ballroom chairs, 60″ round tables, and a variety of banquet tables at an additional charge.

    Food & Beverage

    An approved list of caterers and/or bar services will be provided upon request. Tampa Firefighters Museum maintains a commercial refrigerator, allowing Caterers and Food Service workers to keep all items fresh until ready to serve!


    Smoking is a violation of the Florida Clean Indoor Air Act and is therefore not permitted anywhere in the facility. We a have a zero-tolerance policy towards smoking as the museum houses many extremely sensitive and priceless artifacts. Smoking at any event will result in the loss of the entire security deposit.


    Candles are permitted only in enclosed glass containers.

    Monday-Friday (6am-6pm)

    Valet Lots can be arranged, as well as off-street and metered parking.

    Friday (after 6pm)-Monday (before 6am)

    Zack Street Lot (approx. 40 spaces), may be used at no charge, but is subject to availability. Passes will be issued upon completion of parking application.

    Building rental fees include the use of our tables, chairs, and linens.

    Rental fees do not include after event clean-up which is a separate charge. (Estimated $150-200)

    This is a historical building; the use of fog machines is not permitted. Taping or hanging items on the walls is not allowed. Open-flame candles are not allowed. Confetti and/or Glitter is not allowed.

    You will be required to purchase a liability policy that covers any building damage or injuries resulting to guests. (Can be bought on-line, cost typically about $150)

    We have preferred caterers that we suggest. If you choose a different caterer, we will need to meet with them to assure they are licensed and understand how to safely use this historic building.

    Alcohol must be provided by the Museum or a licensed vendor.

    Even though there is a kitchen area we have no means to heat food here.

    The Tampa Firefighters Museum has some available parking at the Museum and shares a 45-vehicle parking lot with the City of Tampa that guests of the Museum may use outside of business hours- weekdays after 6 and weekends.
